Lasting change doesn't happen immediately. Our work attacking poverty head-on requires a long-term commitment - and when you join BASSMA's Partners for a Smile program, your support will help create a better future for all.
You can actively support a family living on the fringe of Lebanese society, by taking part in BASSMA's Partners for a Smile program that will bring you face to face with a needy family living practically next door. Through Partners for a Smile Sponsorship and Adoption programs, you are giving to the families the means to build their own futures, while respecting their traditions, roots, and customs.
Funds go towards encouraging education by providing scholarships, books and uniforms, Food aid such as free meals and monthly food supply packs, clothing, psychological follow-up, medical and dental healthcare, employment opportunities, as well as holiday celebrations, and cultural outings. After 3 to 5 years of specialized support and sometimes more, our families are rehabilitated and financially independent.
