The “Resto Sourire” is a project initiated by BASSMA aiming at providing hot meals to deprived people. Our first “Resto sourire” in Sin El Fil has been serving food since March 2004 to around 100 people every week.
On Wednesday April 22nd, 2009, BASSMA launched its second “Resto Sourire” in Achrafieh
The new “Resto Sourire” is located in a cheerfully painted place. It has the capacity to welcome 50 persons every day and offers them a delicious hot meal. The opening ceremony was pleasant and enjoyable. Lunch ended with guests singing, clapping and cheering, expressing their happiness out loud.
