In a joint initiative with HIMAYA association, BASSMA organized an awareness roundtable on the different forms of violence. The roundtable took on Wednesday, July 16, at BASSMA's offices in Badaro. Attending were Ms. Joy Geha from HIMAYA, the BASSMA team and the mothers of BASSMA's families.
The objective of this prevention session was to educate mothers on the multiple aspects of violence. It is the first step in a long series of roundtables. The mothers found the meeting very fruitful and they participated eagerly and shared their experiences, raising many important points and questions.
After the session they all felt very relaxed because they found in this group a confidential space where they can share their problems.
