On the 18th of December 2014, BASSMA organized an awareness session on drugs in collaboration with Oum el Nour, in BASSMA’s premises, targeting mainly mothers of destitute families. Fourteen ladies participated in this session.
It started with a short movie by Oum El Nour about the first drugs and their causes, followed by a discussion.
By the end of the session, BASSMA’s women had an understanding on how they should act with their children: observation of signs, knowledge of the different causes and working on them, increasing the communication in the family, etc.
The mothers were very interested and they all participated in the debate, sharing their opinions and experiences about the subject.
