BASSMA organized a prevention session about child abuse in BASSMA's premises, Badaro, with the collaboration of himaya on January 16, 2015, targeting mothers.
The objective of the session is to raise awareness of the causes, consequences and possible solutions of all forms of child abuse.
During the session, an open discussion was initiated and the mothers felt comfortable sharing their personal experiences.
At the end of the session, the mothers were able to identify the different forms of child abuse and how to diminish the risks to which their children are exposed.
