Bassma believes that healthy families lead to healthy societies. By empowering deprived families and helping them reach self-sufficiency, we are a step closer to breaking the cycle of poverty.
Bassma song was composed in 2002 by the Founder & President, Mrs Sandra Klat Abdelnour, based on the above vision, with the musical arrangement of Guy Manoukian.
The song was renewed in 2017 by Michel Fadel on Bassmas 15-year anniversary, and performed in a remarkable way during Bassma's 15th Annual Dinner by Edwin Lattouf & choir, Fabienne Daher, and Bassma's children choir.
Bassma supported more than 100,000 individuals during the last 15 years, through various programs that include: food, clothing, healthcare, education, professional trainings, job matchings, and house total make-overs.
